Clemson Baseball downs Miami for ACC Title

Continuing their streak as the hottest team in the country, the Tigers came from behind to beat the Hurricanes 11-5 and win the ACC Championship.

For the first time since 2016, the Clemson Tigers have won the ACC Baseball Championship. Sunday's 11-5 come-from-behind victory over the Miami Hurricanes gave the Tigers their 16th ACC Championship and their 11th ACC Tournament win.

Riley Bertram’s three-run homer, his first long ball as a Tiger, in the seventh inning, gave No. 5 Clemson the lead for good during its eight-run seventh inning in its 11-5 victory over No. 8 Miami (Fla.) in the championship game of the ACC Tournament at Durham Bulls Athletic Park on Sunday afternoon. The Tigers, who were 4-0 in the tournament and won their 16th game in a row, improved to 43-17. The Hurricanes, who were 3-1 in the tourney, dropped to 40-19. - Clemson Athletics

Clemson is likely to land one of the 16 NCAA regionals that will be announced tonight at 8:30 Eastern. The full selections to college baseball's postseason will be announced at noon during the NCAA Selection Show on Memorial Day.
