Clemson is in for a big test on the road at Miami. The Hurricanes boast a top-ten offense led by quarterback Tyler Van Dyke. Head coach Mario Cristobal got a signature win when Miami knocked off Texas A.M. earlier this year, but a win over Clemson would be a massive step forward for the program. Below are our staff's predictions for the game on Saturday night.

Christian Goeckel - Lead Editor: In a battle of an elite offense vs an elite defense, this one is going to come down to two things: turnovers and Clemson's front seven. Both teams have struggled to hold on to the ball this year and a turnover on Saturday could be costly. As for Clemson's front seven, if the Tigers are able to get pressure by sending four, they should be able to hold up well in the secondary. Without the threat of a mobile quarterback, the Tiger edge rushers will be able to tee off. Will Shipley and Phil Mafah get it done on offense and the Tigers get a big road win. Clemson 27 - Miami 17

Ryan Akin - It may be another road game for Clemson but Miami isn't known for having the most hostile fanbase. It's possible the primetime night game will draw more fans out but Clemson should be able to handle the atmosphere just fine. The Hurricanes' recent skid should continue as a motivated Tigers team, not yet willing to fall all the way down, will be the aggressor. The Clemson defense should get a couple of key secondary players back which will help in its defense of Tyler Van Dyke and the offense will take another step forward. Clemson 31 - Miami 20

Jonathan Hooker - This week's matchup is a tale of two different stories. Miami went through a tough four-quarter battle against Georgia Tech, then faced a very talented North Carolina team that resulted in another four-quarter battle. The Hurricanes could be emotionally spent. On the other hand, the Tigers coming off a bye week and are well rested and most likely made mid-season adjustments to the team. This game is a much-needed one for both teams with the ACC race starting to hit its stride amongst several teams. The Tigers will win this game due to the defense getting a touchdown. Clemson 27 - Miami 24
