The regular season finale is here for the Colorado Buffaloes (21-9, 12-7 Pac-12) as they take on the Oregon State Beavers (13-17, 5-14 Pac-12) with a lot on the line before the Pac-12 Tournament. CU is coming off their third road win of the season as the took down the Oregon Ducks 79-75 on Thursday night.

Tad Boyle's Buffaloes were led by Tristan da Silva who had 22 points. J’Vonne Hadley finished with a double-double of 20 pointa and 12 rebounds and KJ Simpson added in 17 points for the victory. They've now won five in a row as they take on a Beaver team who rattled off a 92-85 win over Utah. The Beavers had three players in double-figures with Jordan Pope scoring 25, Tyler Bilodeau adding 20, and Dexter Akanno finishing with 18. The win improved OSU's home record to 12-5 on the season as the Seniors look for one final win on Senior Day at Gill Coliseum on Saturday.

In the first meeting in Boulder, it was a dominant performance by the Buffs taking down the Beavers 90-57. The Buffs had six players in double-figures in the blowout. However, that was a different juncture of the season. Oregon State wants to end the season on a high and build off a good win against a solid Utah team. No doubt emotions will be running high for both teams.

The Beavers are a young team with most of their points coming from underclassman. Sophomore Jordan Pope leads the team in scoring, averaging 17.9 points per game (5th, Pac-12). Right behind him is another Sophomore in Tyler Bilodeau, who averages 14.4 points per game and is second on team in rebounds per game with 5.7. Dexter Akanno one of the three seniors for OSU and is the only other upperclassman averaging double digits production with 10.6 points per game. Overall, the Beavers have shown their age this season and come into the final game of the season as the 11th best scoring team, averaging 69.7 points per game. Their defense is better as they're currently fifth, allowing 72.9 per game.

Colorado has no problem scoring as they averaging 80.8 points per game (2nd, Pac-12). Their defense ranks third, allowing 72.6 points a game. Simpson might be one of the top scorers in the Pac-12, but he is just as good defensively, as he is third in the Pac-12 in steals with nearly two per game. The All-American candidate has had three or more steals in nine games this season. He continues to prove that he can do it on both ends of the floor. Hadley is right behind him as second on the team in steals and rebounds. Colorado will need these players to be big on the defensive end to close out the season with a win.

The Buffs look for their sixth straight win and a chance to have their 22nd win of the season, which would be most in team history. It will also give them solid momentum heading into the Pac-12 Tournament where they will have a first-round bye.

CBS Sport’s Jerry Palm has CU on the bubble at the moment and ESPN’s Joe Lunardi still has the Buffs as one of the first four teams out. Another win and the Buffs enhance their chances of being picked to the 68-team bracket. A loss and they will need to win the Pac-12 Tournament to guarantee a spot in the NCAA Tournament. The Buffs are 22-11 all-time against Oregon State and must make notch another win to keep their hopes alive to go dancing in Phoenix.
