The 2023 football season is in the books for the Colorado Buffaloes. It ended with a six-game losing streak, but the last two weeks have given promise to what Deion Sanders and his staff will offer next year. A part of that will be upgraded uniforms from Nike, which Coach Prime showed off in a recent video for Well Off Media. These are a first-look prototype. However, they give an idea of what's coming for 2024.

CU's practice jerseys will mirror the ones used for a game with the same materials. There will also be new personal touches to the uniforms with logos like Shedeur's dollar sign logo and such. It's all part of Nike's commitment to revamping the Buffs for next year. Sanders' Diamond Turf cleats were tested out by a few players this year and will be used by the entire team next year, according to a source close to CU athletics.

One thing that's clear is that Colorado will make a huge jump from what Nike was offering two years ago. It's an extension of Sanders' influence for the program and how he was able to leverage better equipment. It's not on par with what Oregon has by any means, but it's better than any of the current Big 12 schools.

It's a remains a selling point for Sanders and the Buffs as they continue to pull in players via the transfer portal. There was a huge emphasis on improving the offensive line this weekend. A total of six new recruits in the trenches with a wealth of experience that carried over from other schools. Sanders said on social media he was pleased and that "A few more Doggs" were coming offensively. He also mentioned this weekend would be dedicated to the defense, "Especially them Sapps." Making reference to Hall-of-Famer Warren Sapp, who joins the Buffs as a defensive coach next year.

Colorado is in the midst of the transfer portal window ahead of early Signing Day on Dec. 20.
