Colorado's Travis Hunter enjoying the start of the offseason at Lake Prime

In this story:
The Colorado Buffaloes are transitioning into offseason mode and are in the midst of the transfer portal window. Deion Sanders and his staff have revamped the offensive line with six new recruits coming to Boulder. It's been a busy few weeks, but Coach Prime and Travis Hunter recently found themselves enjoying the great outdoors.
CU's two-way star showed off his skills as an angler by reeling in a nice looking bass at Lake Prime. Sanders shared the moment on social media with Hunter joyful about his catch that weighed over 10 pounds. It was reportedly 12's second fish of the day at the lake and proclaimed himself "Fishing God."
Hunter is coming off being named the 2023 Paul Hornung Award winner and earning multiple All-American honors. He led the nation with over 900 snaps on both sides of the ball. An incredible accomplishment considering he missed three games with a lacerated liver.
Colorado defied the odds and finished the football season at 4-8. It was Coach Prime's first season on the books in Boulder with more excitement to come. Being able to see Sanders and Hunte bond over fishing is also a welcome sight for the Buffs. In many ways, it's a deeper mentorship between the greatest defensive back and the heir apparent.
Sanders will be bringing some defensive teammates for Hunter via the transfer portal this weekend. Stay tuned because next year's roster will come together quickly for Prime and the Buffaloes.
