Deion Sanders has a few transfer portal requests for Santa after Christmas

In this story:
Deion Sanders wants the world to know he's not finished working the transfer portal. The Hall-of-Famer took to X (Formerly Twitter) with a jolly request for St. Nick one day after Christmas. While Coach Prime has pulled in the top transfer class for a second-straight year, he's still not satisfied on defense.
"Dang, I (saw) the portal doing the bank-head bounce," Sanders wrote. "Just when I thought Santa was on his way back to the North Pole he dipped off. Santa please drop another DT, CB ,LB & 1 more Pass Rusher to Boulder. I BELIEVE Santa I BELIEVE!"

Colorado's struggles on defense were immense, having allowed 453.3 yards per game and 34.8 points per game. It was a major emphasis for Buffs defensive coordinator Charles Kelly to rebuild starting from scratch in the heart of the linebacker corps. Eight of the 18 current transfers are on the defensive side of the ball with most of them on the line. Next year's pass rush will look much different compared to this year, with more experienced contributors from better programs. Add that to an outstanding secondary approach with Travis Hunter leading the way.
Sanders has a few good options with the players who're currently in the portal. Georgia five-star cornerback A.J. Harris would be a good fit for the Buffs. He's the prototypical two-sport athlete Coach Prime looks for when recruiting. The freshman saw time in a majority of games for Kirby Smart this year. Harris was selected to play in All-American Bowl while at Phenix City's Central (Alabama) and ranked as the No. 32 prospect nationally, according to 247Sports. He's currently ranked in the top five of all available players.
There's also a flood of top talent, including USC cornerback Domani Jackson, Houston defensive lineman Jamaree Caldwell, and Michigan State defensive tackle Derrick Harmon. Colorado has secured six of the top 100 players with the transfer window open for another week.
