Deion Sanders' health journey has been a wild one.

The Colorado Buffaloes head coach revealed on Thursday he will undergo emergency surgery to relieve blood clots in both legs. It is a scary situation but one that Prime has managed over the past couple of years. Even with the newest update, he remains in high spirits and is hopeful for what the future has in store.

Coach Prime said he plans to have procedures to repair a dislocation in his left foot as well as multiple hammer toes. However, these surgeries are on hold until he has proper blood flow in his leg.

“I went to the doctor the other day to check myself out, and I have two clots in my legs,” said Coach Prime.

Sanders sat down for an exclusive interview with Uncle Neely from Thee Pregame Show prior to releasing a statement. He gave his thoughts on the surgery and explaned how faith is keeping him motivated.

Neely shared a story from a recent trip with Prime to Austin. He detailed how the plane they were flying in experienced abnormal turbulence and how calm Sanders was under pressure. The eight-minute interview is a must-watch piece and sheds light into Prime's state of mind.

Sanders goes in for surgery 71 days before the start of the 2023 football season.
