They say you'll never know when your actions will have an impact on someone else. In the case of Deion Sanders, his words resonate with many in the sports world. The Colorado Buffaloes coach did nothing unusual by dropping his daily devotional on X, except it caught the eye of Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant.

"How do you see yourself? You've got to start seeing you the way God sees you. You are Fearfully & Wonderfully made," Sanders wrote. "You are more than a Conqueror. You are created to have Dominion & you are Blessed! Please understand all the positivity going on in your life & stop allowing the negativity"

Morant was in need of a positive charge and took it to heart. He replied to Sanders on Wednesday morning saying, "Right on time Prime. Much needed."

Sanders has guided the Buffs to a winning record in his first seven games. He's a true "players coach" and tries to inspire anyone who's willing to listen. It has been a staple of his philosophy over the course of his Hall of Fame career.

Morant has dealt with his share of adversity over the past two years. The NBA All-Star point guard will serve a 25-game suspension to open the season as a punishment for a string of off-court incidents. He'll try to reconstruct his career in the league and move on from the controversial past.

Sanders noted that "Half the NBA" was on-hand for CU's game against USC three weeks ago. We'll see if Morant is a special guest on the sidelines for an upcoming Buffs game while he's out.
