Coach Prime sends a message of hope to Buffs fans

“I’m gonna try my best to stay composed.”

Those aren’t my words but I certainly echo the sentiment. That was near the beginning of Coach Prime’s most difficult press conference as a coach.

Last night was a truly a gut punch. Every season has highs and lows, that’s to be expected. If you watch enough college football, you recognize that anything can happen at any time. However, you also get a sense as to where things are trending from an emotional standpoint. That’s what makes a game like this so painful. This game went in a direction that nobody could have possibly predicted at halftime.

Coach Prime addressed the fans on his Instagram account this morning.

I think we all thought the message was received after Arizona State. It clearly wasn’t. Now more than ever, they need to dig deep and grow together as a team.

As Coach Prime said, “Consistency wins in the end. I love all the Colorado fans and supporters to life and I appreciate the rest of y’all….good or bad.”
