Majority of bettors wagering for Deion Sanders' success at Colorado

In this story:
Deion Sanders' arrival at Colorado has drawn waves of opinions over the course of college football's biggest off-season. There are people who love to hate Coach Prime and others who are "Ride or Die" by his side. But sportsbooks don't weigh odds off emotions.
If Sanders exceeds expectations, it would mean huge losses for Vegas and beyond. Colorado's projected 3.5 win total seems very low, which has prompted a majority of Americans to put money on Coach Prime's success.
According to For The Win's Ben Fawkes, BetMGM claims 88 percent of bets are for the Buffs to be over the total. The evidence isn't just with a single Sportsbook either. DraftKings says 89 percent of people are also backing Sanders. Not truly surprising, but if you listen to some of the naysayers, there's a disconnect between the mass population of gamblers and a select few media personalities, including ESPN's Mark Schlabach.
CBS Sports commentator Randy Cross says CU will upset 17th-ranked TCU on the Sept. 2 opener. The three-time Super Bowl winner isn't alone with Fox Sports analyst Joel Klatt predicting the Buffs would be victorious in one of the first two games.
Colorado enters the 2023 football season with a season ticket sell out for the first time since 1996. The home opener vs. Nebraska is currently one of the hottest tickets. Overall, Colorado joins Florida State and Tennessee as the top three with the biggest increases, according to StubHub.
