Colorado has been the talk of the sports world this year, with Deion Sanders leading the Buffaloes out of college football's basement. The 4-7 record isn't indicative of the progress happening in Boulder. It's a factor more people are realizing outside of Boulder, including FOX Sports analyst Richard Sherman.

The former NFL All-Pro and Legion of Boom member took a deep dive into Sanders' first season and counted off all the positives during Wednesday's episode of 'Undisputed'. Sherman pointed to the record ticket sales as part of the 'Prime Effect' being able to expand the culture at CU.

"I think this is a successful season for the University of Colorado," Sherman said. "I think they're happy with what is happening this year. They're selling out stadiums. There is excitement around the program. There are big-time recruits there. There are celebrities there. They're on national television almost every week."

Sanders and the Buffs will go back to the drawing board in the next couple weeks with the transfer portal opening back up and early Signing Day right around the corner. They'll have Warren Sapp on hand to help in the trenches, as he'll be coming onboard as an addition to Prime's staff. The Hall-of-Famer has wanted to break into coaching and gets his opportunity at CU.

Colorado enters a season finale with Utah on Saturday afternoon. Kickoff from Rice-Eccles stadium is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET with coverage on the Pac-12 Network.
