Michael Irvin tells Omarion Miller he looked NFL caliber vs. USC

NFL Hall-of-Famer in awe of CU's freshman for his outstanding effort

Omarion Miller was HIM for the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday. The freshman four-star receiver helped set up two scores and had one of his own in the second half vs. USC. He finished with 196 yards on seven receptions.

It caught the attention of Michael Irvin who was watching on the sidelines. The Cowboys Hall of Fame legend and new FOX Sports host showed love to Miller for his efforts.

"This boy right here is a bad dude," Irvin said after the game. "That out route he ran was an NFL out route. Way to keep playing. Big time players make big time plays in big moments and that was awesome."

Shedeur Sanders found Miller for a 66-yard catch and run. It set up a two-yard touchdown run by Anthony Hankerson. Colorado's next offensive possession included a beauty from Miller. A 43-yard one-on-one bomb against USC's Prophet Brown and subsequent touchdown to Mikey Harrison. He came back with his first-ever touchdown catch on a 9-yard bullet from Sanders on fourth down.

Miller looks to play a bigger role with the Buffs going forward. This was a production effort Deion Sanders said he didn't see coming based on his showing in practice.

Colorado hits the road to Tempe to take on Arizona State next weekend.
