Shedeur Sanders has a message for fans, following a cascade of players and recruits that have stated their intentions to either leave, or no longer attend Colorado.

Although things have been tough overall for the Colorado Buffaloes in their inaugural season with Coach Prime, no single player has had a more difficult year than quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Sanders was sacked more than any other quarterback in all of college football. Then, he had to sit out the final Utah game with a fractured back.

While he is recovering, Shedeur wants CU fans to be reassured that the chaos from an exodus of player decommitments isn’t getting to the team.

This post is not only short and to the point, but it also displays the swagger and resilience that we’ve come to love from this team. But what would you expect from the QB whose famous Head Coach / Dad started this Colorado football season by saying, “We coming.” The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Despite enduring a serious injury, and dealing with the pain that goes along with a fractured back, Shedeur still seems to be joking and in good spirits.

For all those concerned, the transfer portal opens on December 4th and early signing day for recruits is December 20th. You can expect a lot more holiday cheer in Boulder in the not so distant future.
