Colorado and Deion Sanders are taking more bets than NFL games

In this story:
The "Prime Effect" is taking on a new meaning. A majority of sportsbooks typically don't have any competition with the NFL during the season. That was until Deion Sanders shocked the world in Fort Worth last week.
The Colorado-Nebraska game is the most popular bet of the weekend, according to BetMGM. The "Red Letter" rivalry soared above all remaining NFL Week 1 games with the line set at 2.5 points in favor of the Buffaloes. A majority of bettors are taking Colorado's side against the Huskers.
There's a wide gap after Colorado's upset over TCU. The Buffs win total was set at 3.5 before the season, which might be surpassed with ease. Sportsbooks took a major loss by Colorado overcoming the 21-point underdog status last week. It prompted Sanders to ask reporters if they finally believed in his squad after the game.
The hype surrounding Coach Prime's Buffs is off the charts. Two-way stud Travis Hunter and his best friend quarterback Shedeur Sanders finally landed on the Heisman radar after being disrespected the entire off-season. Hunter is fourth at 16-1 odds, and Sanders is right behind him at 22-1, according to BetMGM.
