Deion Sanders has taken the sports world by storm, but there's a two-time NBA MVP that knows nothing about the Colorado Buffaloes football coach. Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic might be an 45 minute drive away from Boulder and could care less about what's happening there.

When reporters asked The Joker about the 'Prime Effect' and if he knew about Sanders, his response was classic. He shook head and said "No, sorry" in the best way possible. It is not shocking that Jokic isn't dialed into anything related to football. He's all about basketball and maybe horse racing back home in Serbia.

A slew of Jokic's teammates made the trip to Folsom Field for Saturday's CU-USC game, including Aaron Gordon and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. They shared their thoughts about Sanders and the entire experience. Gordon said it was "lit" to be around the vibe of the Buffs' movement. They were two of the many NBA current and former players in Boulder this week.

Despite Jokic not knowing much about Sanders, I'm sure that's all about to change. Coach Prime once had NBA-type talent and was offered a chance to play for the Atlanta Hawks in the early 90s. I know Sanders will be reaching out to meet the All-Star at some point in the near future.

The Nuggets are coming off the first NBA Championship in franchise history. Jokic and his teammates are three weeks away from raising the banner into the rafters with a season opener against the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 24.
