Philadelphia Phillies stars pay homage to Deion Sanders before NLDS

The city of Philly is buzzing for Coach Prime these days
MLB

It seems like the Philadelphia 76ers brought some Prime vibes back to the city of Brotherly Love.

Philadelphia Phillies stars Bryce Harper and Nick Castellanos were showing support for Deion Sanders before Game 3 of the NLDS in Atlanta on Wednesday. It's proof the "Prime Effect" has finally hit the MLB and is spreading.

It's not just NFL and NBA players doing 'The Shedeur' as a celebration act, it's a full on avalanche of Colorado happening in the sports world. The Phillies are tied 1-1 in the series with the Braves. It's a great way to pay respect to Sanders, who helped build the city he was drafted into back in 1989.

The Colorado Buffaloes coach has been the story of the year with the world watching in anticipation of what happens next. It's nothing short of a whirlwind.

Coach Prime says Shedeur Sanders can't celebrate for free, "We've got to capitalize" with NIL

Ironically, today is the anniversary of Prime being the only player in history to play an NFL and MLB game on the same day.

Harper and Castellanos have both been factors for the Phillies in this year's playoffs. They'll try to return to the World Series for a second consecutive year after falling to the Houston Astros in 2022. Maybe there's some magic in the 'Prime Effect' for a deep run.
