Deion Sanders has always had the support of Travis Kelce. In fact, the two have developed a bond over the years with the current NFL superstar tight end often singing the praises of the Colorado Buffaloes coach and vice versa.

So, it comes as no surprise that Kelce would throw all his weight behind Coach Prime’s first year in the Big 12. He was asked how many games the Buffs would win and he fired off with a zinger. “Undefeated. I’m taking Prime every single time,” Kelce said. “I’m not a betting man but my money is on Prime.”

An amazing response from Kelce, who might want to change his answer after he discovers Colorado will host his alma mater, Cincinnati, later this year. However, he might ride with Sanders on that one too.

Kelce and the Chiefs are preparing for their fourth Super Bowl appearance in five years with a rematch against the San Francisco 49ers. Taylor Swift’s man has the chance to one-up Coach Prime against his former team on Sunday. He would become a three-time Super Bowl champion with a victory and also one away from tying the all-time mark for a tight end. It’s the first time Las Vegas hosts a big game in NFL history. What sets up to be a perfect setting with endless resorts and space for everything needed to end the season.

Sanders will be cheering on his “little brother,” along with his mentor Andy Reid, who regularly calls after games during the season. The two coaches have been friends since the mid-90s during Prime’s days with the Dallas Cowboys.

Super Bowl LVIII will be played at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, NV on Sunday, February 11. Usher will be this year’s performer for the Apple Music Halftime Show.
