A nightmarish first half for Deion Sanders and Colorado

Where to begin? This was a disaster on offense, defense, and special teams.

The Good

Jordan Domineck: Was able to apply pressure and get a nice sack on Bo Nix.

Jahquez Robinson: Had a big interception. It’s good to see him out on the field for the first time.

Michael Harrison: Had a third down catch to keep a drive alive….that ended three plays later.

Xavier Weaver: Caught the ball well but just didn’t get much yardage.

The Bad

Offensive Line: Just awful. Had no answers all half. The tackles offered no resistance at all. 

Entire Secondary: The term “coverage bust” was used just a little too often.

Travis Jay: I don’t even know what to say.

Special Teams: Looked completely lost on fake punt.

Coaching: They weren’t ready for this environment.

Second Half Adjustments

Honestly, I might pull Shedeur. Listening to Dan Lanning say they’re “not done yet…..not satisfied” followed by a shot a the television viewers is about enough for me. Let’s not get Shedeur hurt trying to prevent the inevitable.
