Deion Sanders and the Buffs pulled in a late addition to the 2024 class. Naples (Fla.) High School cornerback Ebenezer “Ben” Bouzi decided he would be Boulder bound on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-1, 180-pound two-way player has been noted as one of Southwest Florida's top football prospects at cornerback and wide receiver. Bouzi had some fantastic performances during a few 7v7 camps during the offseason that moved his name up the charts. The three-star followed that up with 25 tackles, an interception, and a forced fumble, which earned Naples Daily News All-Area First Team honors last season.

Bouzi has shown great technique as a cover corner. His athleticism is solid with speed, the ability to change direction on the fly, and knowing when to use his hands. He's a prototypical multi-position player that fits the PrimeTime mold.

This adds another player from the Florida pipeline to this year's recruiting class. Much credit is due to Devin Rispress and the Buffs staff for having a continuous cycle from the Sunshine State. The former FAMU staffer has been instrumental in pulling in talent from Prime's home state.

Bouzi joins Colorado as the 20th Florida native on the roster. He's now the 36th player in the 2024 combined class. The majority have come via the transfer portal, and he's the tenth high school recruit
