Colorado adds NFL Academy's Yahya Attia to 2024 recruiting class

Colorado has added another offensive lineman from an unusual spot. Yahya Attia from NFL Academy in Loughborough, England made it official on Wednesday, announcing he would join Coach Prime and the Buffaloes.
The NFL Academy is Europe's version of a next-level feeder team for players to earn scholarships. This is the second straight year a player has joined CU from the program. Kofi Taylor-Barrocks was part of last year's recruiting class as the top prospect in the UK.

Attia joins the Buffs with a NFL ready frame, but doesn't have much experience. He stands 6-foot-4 and 335 pounds with a lot of upside as “The Bulldozer.” His soccer background mixed with outstanding hand techniques plays well for his position on the line. There will be a bit of a learning curve for Attia. However, Phil Loadhold prides himself as a "players coach" and will work him into the rotation.
Colorado now has a total of 39 players as part of the 2024 combined class. The majority of those are transfers, but it's starting to even out a bit. The Buffs are in the midst of Spring Practices this week. They'll have another two weeks before the Black and Gold Spring Game on April 27.
