Colorado's Shedeur Sanders named 2023 Davey O'Brien Award semifinalist

Shedeur Sanders has been one of the best quarterbacks in the country this season. Despite a high sack total, the Colorado Buffaloes passer was among 20 players named to the list of semifinalists for the Davey O’Brien Award this week.
Sanders is currently fifth in FBS with 3,144 passing yards with 26 TDs and three INTs. In fact, he leads the nation with most completions (292) and attempts (420). He's also one of two QBs with 400+ attempts in the top 10. He's easily the most accurate passer in college football.
The Davey O'Brien Award is given out annually to the best quarterback in the country. Sanders was one of five from the Pac-12 to make the list. Here's the entire list in alphabetical order.

The three finalists for the 2023 Davey O'Brien Award will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 28. The winner of the award will be announced on Friday, Dec. 8, at the Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN.
