Colorado slides to No. 19 in AP Top 25 Poll

The AP voters weren't impressed by the Colorado Buffaloes 43-35 double-overtime win over Colorado State, sliding them down to No. 19 in the latest rankings.  

Colorado hasn't been ranked this early in the season since 2002, and they haven't finished a season among the Top 25 in seven years.

Deion Sanders took the Buffaloes into the highly-anticipated Rocky Mountain Showdown as 23.5-point favorites over the Rams. Shedeur Sanders finished with another 300+ yard game for a total 1,251 yards on the season. The Deacon Jones Award winner is on pace for a career best year in Boulder. 

A lot of hype with CU having sold out five of six home games, matching the most in its history, which happened exactly 30 years ago in 1993.

Alabama’s Top 10 AP Poll streak is over. The Tide fell to No. 13 and ends the streak at 128 consecutive (dating back to 2015). It was the second-longest streak in history behind Miami's run from 1985-1993. 

Colorado (3-0) wrapped up non-conference play needing one win to exceed the 3.5 win total set by oddsmakers prior to the season. The Buffs go into Eugene as underdogs, facing the 10th-ranked Oregon next week (3:30 p.m. ET/TV: ABC).
