Colorado transfer Matthew Bedford flips to Oregon

Deion Sanders landed Matthew Bedford, but he had other plans after committing to Colorado last week.
The former Indiana offensive lineman decided to reverse course and transfer to Oregon on Monday. He explained his decision via a post on X (formerly Twitter).
"I want to express my deepest gratitude to the University of Colorado and their amazing coach staff, and community for their support and belief in me. The Colorado community is so amazing that I made my decision too hastily before weighing all my options," Bedford wrote.
"However, upon reflection, I believe that the University of Oregon aligns perfectly with my long-term goals and I'm thrilled to join the Oregon Ducks and contribute my best on and off the football field."

A 6-foot-6, 305-pound offensive lineman from Cordova, Tenn., Bedford started 38 of 41 games for the Hoosiers over the last five seasons. He has experience on both sides of the line and would've been a huge asset for Colorado. With Bedford gone, Colorado has pulled in five new offensive lineman, including five-star plus recruit Jordan Seaton.
Colorado has secured a total of 15 transfers via the portal, which is currently No. 1, according to 247Sports. This includes six of the eight players who visited Boulder this weekend.
