Vegas insider predicts Colorado will only beat Stanford in 2023

In this story:
If you were betting on Deion Sanders to strike gold in his debut season, Vegas oddsmakers would say don't count on it. One of those in particular put Colorado in a rare category to repeat with a one-win season in 2023 and even indirectly detailed who they would likely beat.

Action Network's Colin Wilson says the Buffaloes are underdogs in every game except for Oct. 13 vs. Stanford. If his assessment were to come true, CU would start 0-6 with a majority of losses at home, including the Rocky Mountain Showdown with Colorado State.
Colorado's projected win total is currently at 3.5, according to a majority of sportsbooks. A mark that was lowered since a mass exodus and rejuvenation of talent in Boulder. Over 70 new players and very few holdovers from the Karl Dorrell era.

Since coming over from Jackson State, Sanders' pull in the transfer portal has been amazing to watch. A slew of five-and-four-star players have flocked to join the Buffs with plans of shocking the college football world. Colorado went 1-11 last year and hasn't been overly competitive since joining the Pac-12 over a decade ago.
Sanders has brought life to an otherwise non-legitimate conference bottom feeder. However, one anonymous Pac-12 coach is siding with Vegas insiders, predicting a lose-lose scenario for Coach Prime's tenure at CU. Sanders responded by saying the statement was the "Dumbest thing" ever. The attack on the Hall of Famer came while he was out recovering from blood clot surgery.
