Colorado's Brandon Davis-Swain not allowed to attend UA Next All-America Game

In this story:
Brandon Davis-Swain is taking his talents to Boulder next year. The four-star ESPN 300 defensive end had a stellar season for West Bloomfield (Michigan), earning a spot in the Under Armour Next All-America Game before his season ended due to injury. An outstanding accomplishment he won't be able to experience.
Davis-Swain took to X (Formerly Twitter) late Thursday night and explained why he wouldn't be attending the game.
"Hello everyone, I wanted to let my fanbase know I will not be able to attend the All-America Under Armour Next game due to my elbow injury," Davis-Swain wrote. "I was informed by the All American Committee that they do not allow injured players to attend. Sorry for any inconvenience to my family (&) fans."

The Buffs newest defender ended his high school career with a trip to the hospital after dominating a playoff game. He heads to Boulder as Michigan's all-time sack leader with 50 career sacks. A ridiculous set of stats for the two-way star with 276 tackles (95 for loss), 50 sacks, two interceptions, and one forced fumble on defense. Add that to 37 touches for 435 total yards and eight total TDs on offense.
Davis-Swain turned down offers from Notre Dame, Michigan, and others to join Deion Sanders and Charles Kelly at Colorado. At 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds, he played both tight end and defensive end and will likely continue down that path for the Buffs.
