In this story:

Deion Sanders wasn't trying to come off as brash, but he did flex his football knowledge a bit. When asked if he knew how significant the Rocky Mountain Showdown was for both schools, Coach Prime had to remind everyone who he was. He admitted he wasn't up to date on all things related to the RMS and boldly said, "This isn't my first rodeo," when asked about it.

Sanders rattled off that he was part of the Saints-Falcons and Cowboys-49ers rivalries and explained how much it meant in the football world. Another reporter asked Deion's feelings on CSU coach Jay Norvell, who gave him pointers on how to work Shedeur Sanders into the air raid offense.

Coach Prime explained how he talked to several people about the scheme, including the late Mike Leach. Sanders ended his comment by saying he was part of two divorces, which was a heck of a showdown, too.

No. 18 Colorado welcomes CSU for the final non-conference matchup of the 2023 football season. The Buffs look to make it six straight over the Rams going back to 2015. ESPN College GameDay returns to Boulder for the first time in nearly three decades.
