Jaylen Wester made it official and will join Deion Sanders and Colorado next season. The former FAU linebacker announced he'll be transferring vis social media on Saturday night. It comes nearly a week after his brother, LaJohntay, said he would be Boulder bound as well.

Wester racked up 116 tackles (7.5 for loss), two sacks, a forced fumble, and INT over the past two years at Florida Atlantic. The 6-foot, 205-pounder was an original unrated recruit from Palmetto (Florida) as part of the 2022 recruiting class. He has grinded out every opportunity for the better and will do the same at Colorado.

"Coming to CU is definitely a blessing," Wester told BuffsBeat. "I'm ready to contribute with that dog mentality and getting pushed for greatness to achieve a higher goal on and off the field. We're going to hear Coach Prime say, "Give me my theme music" a lot!"

The Wester brothers made history by committing to Colorado. It's the first time in modern FBS history that a team will feature a group of three brothers. Shilo and Shedeur Sanders, along with Destin and Keaten Wade are the other sets of siblings for the Buffs. All part of the 'Prime Effect' and finding the best talent around the country.

Wester becomes the 22nd player coming via the transfer portal during this cycle. Coach Prime has once again tapped into the Florida pipeline. Wester is the fourth CU transfer with ties to the Sunshine State. He has two years of eligibility remaining on the books.
