FSU's DJ Lundy transfers to Colorado

In this story:
Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes weren't done working on Christmas day with DJ Lundy officially headed to Boulder. The former Florida State linebacker hit the transfer portal last week and didn't waste time being part of CU's next class.

Lundy played in all 13 games for the undefeated Seminoles and racked up 48 tackles (Five for loss) with 1.5 sacks, two pass breakups and one forced fumble. He was also used in a few offensive packages with two total touchdowns this season. A rare accomplishment as the sixth player in FBS history with at least one rushing touchdown, one receiving touchdown and 40 tackles in a season, according to FSU. Travis Hunter could become the next to make that happen next year.
The original 2020 three-star recruit from Irwin County (Georgia) was a two-time GACA Player of the Year. He helped win a state championship during his senior season as a two-way star. Lundy went to FSU as a three-time state wrestling champion and finished his junior year with perfect 36-0 record on the mat.
Coach Prime and Charles Kelly will keep Lundy busy in the heart of the Buffs defense. The 6-foot-1, 250-pounder will provide an instant spark. For his career, he had 183 total tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, five sacks, and one forced fumble. Lundy comes to CU with a year of eligibility remaining.
The transfer portal window stays open until Jan. 2. It was reduced by the NCAA from 45 days to 30 days. This doesn't include players participating in postseason play, who will have five days after their team’s respective season ends.
