Deion Sanders and the Buffs got another big time offensive lineman commit on Saturday.

Houston's Tyler Johnson announced he would be transferring to Colorado. The 6-foot-5, 325-pound Johnson is an All-American guard and originally came from Texas, but has spend the last two years with the Cougars. He played over 700 snaps in 11 games at Houston this year.

Johnson becomes the second lineman to commit to the Buffaloes as part of a large visitor group this weekend. UConn's Yakiri Walker also made it official earlier.

Colorado was lacking depth across the offensive line and is restocking to help Shedeur Sanders' efforts going into 2024. Johnson was a four-star recruit from Conroe, Texas and a top ten offensive lineman in the nation as part of the 2019 recruiting class.

A tremendous boost new offensive line coach Phil Loadholt with Johnson having a proven track record. He's reunited with his former UH teammate Alton McCaskill, who joined the Buffs this year.

Johnson didn't play two of his three years at Texas and comes to Boulder with two years of eligibility left.
