No. 10 Oregon defeats No. 19 Colorado, 42-6

In this story:
Bo Nix looked like a Heisman favorite in the first three quarters before finding a spot on the Ducks bench.
The Oregon QB completed 28-of-33 passes for 276 yards and three touchdowns. He threw his first interception of the season, which was the only miscue in the Ducks' 42-6 victory over the Buffs on Saturday afternoon.
Colorado's defense had nothing to offer against Nix's attack and Shedeur Sanders was sacked seven times in the rout. Oregon ran up and down the field at ease for over 500 yards total offense. While CU failed to break 300 yards for the first time this year.
The Buffs finished with 199 total yards, but that was nearly negated with 12 penalties for 103 yards. Sanders finished with 159 yards passing and a touchdown on CU's final possession to Michael Harrison.
Nothing went right early for the Buffs and it didn't get better as the Ducks scored touchdowns on five of their first six possessions to take a 35-0 halftime lead.
Oregon added one more score before Nix was pulled from the game and was pitching a shutout at 42-0 early in the third quarter. Ducks coach Dan Lanning was clearly trying to send a message by running up the score when the game was out of reach for the Buffs.
Colorado avoided the scoreless outing with Sanders marching down the field on a 14-play, 93-yard drive with 2:51 left. The PAT was blocked with the final score 42-6.
NEXT UP: The Buffs return home next Saturday and welcome 5th-ranked USC. A Big Noon Kickoff feature at Folsom Field on FOX.
