Shilo Sanders is still dealing with a kidney injury and will be a game-time decision to play against USC, per coach Deion Sanders.

The Colorado defensive back took contact in the loss to Oregon last Saturday and said he was heading to the hospital after urinating blood on the flight home. Coach Prime addressed his son's health in his weekly radio show appearance on Thursday saying he's praying for Shilo.

"We landed and went straight to the hospital to check him out," Sanders said. "He can't participate until he stops urinating blood. He told the doctor, "You know I'm a Sanders, right? I got to play" So, he wants to play so badly. We have probably another 36 hours before we really know if he's not urinating blood anymore."

Sanders has played great thus far in his first season at Colorado. The Jackson State transfer has accounted for 26 total tackles, an interception return for a TD, and forced fumble.

"That's a blow," Sanders admitted. "Shilo is HIM back there"

Colorado hopes to have Sanders back in the lineup this weekend as they take on 8th-ranked USC (Noon ET, FOX).
