WATCH: Colorado's Shedeur Sanders 9-yard touchdown strike to Xavier Weaver

In this story:
Coach Prime has preached for weeks that he’s looking to start fast and tonight his team reponded.
It was an efficient eight play, 77-yard touchdown drive where Shedeur Sanders showed just how difficult he can be to contain. After completing a first down pass to Travis Hunter, which was his first catch since week three, "Grown" made Stanford pay with his feet.
A 38-yard scramble set the Buffs up in Cardinal territory. Another rush by Shedeur along with a completion to Jimmy Horn Jr. pushed Colorado to inside the red zone. Then, it was just a beautiful crossing strike to Xavier Weaver for the touchdown.
Weaver now has over 500 yards receiving and three scores on the season.
The Buffs defense looked great on the first drive, forcing a quick three and out. Colorado is back on offense again after forcing another punt. In addition, they'll will start out with possession to begin the second half. Midway through the first quarter, Colorado is up 7-0.
