Talan Chandler flips from Deion Sanders and Colorado's 2024 recruiting class for Missouri

In this story:
The Colorado Buffaloes received another round of bad news on Sunday with offensive lineman Talan Chandler decommitting from the 2024 recruiting class.
Chandler, a three-star talent from Nevada, Missouri, was firmly set on joining the Buffs and was advocating for others to be a part of the program up until a month ago. There were rumors recently that he would be staying home at Missouri instead of joining Coach Prime in Boulder, and he made that official.

The 6-foot-3, 295-pounder was part of a state title while at Lutheran St. Charles as a sophomore. He moved to Nevada prior to his junior year and earned first-team all-state honors for a straight second year. He also notched first-team honors on the News-Leader All-Ozarks and News-Leader Dominant Dozen lists.
"Really the biggest thing is Mizzou was my dream school," Chandler told SI high school. "Being able to stay close to home and play in the SEC is an unbelievable opportunity. I know so many guys on the team and the coaching staff is amazing. It really feels like home. Also the way they have developed their offensive line this year is incredible."
EXCLUSIVE: Talan Chandler has dreams beyond football
With him dropping from the program, the Buffs are currently down to a total of ten players in the 2024 class with Issiah Walker Jr. being the only O-lineman. They still have two high-value four-star talents with two-way star Aaron Butler and defensive lineman Brandon Davis-Swain on the way.
Colorado (4-7) got blown out at Washington State in a 56-14 loss on Friday night. They were eliminated from postseason contention in Sanders' first year at CU. Still, it is an amazing accomplishment for a program to have four wins with over 80 new players. The Buffs end the season at Utah on Saturday afternoon (3 p.m. ET/ TV: Pac-12 Network).
