Rosters for this week's Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp in Los Angeles were revealed on Thursday. They include a pair of current Duke basketball players (in the role of counselors) and two prime Blue Devil recruiting targets.

The two Blue Devil counselors are rookie combo guard Jared McCain and senior point guard Jeremy Roach. Note that Duke is one of only three schools with two players on that 13-deep list, with the others being Villanova, sending Mark Armstrong and Justin Moore, and Syracuse, sending Judah Mintz and JJ Starling.

Presumably, while at Chris Paul's prestigious event, McCain and Roach will partake in some recruiting behind the scenes. Again, fortunately for the Duke basketball program, two preps on the 11-deep boys' roster boast offers from second-year head coach Jon Scheyer and are likely at or near the top of the Blue Devil wishlist.

One is Christopher Columbus (Fla.) five-star combo guard Cayden Boozer, the son of Duke basketball great Carlos Boozer and twin brother to top-ranked 2025 power forward Cameron Boozer. He's held a Blue Devil offer since May 2022.

And the other is Lincoln Park (Pa.) five-star point guard Meleek Thomas, who landed his Blue Devil offer in April and has implied in interviews that Duke is his dream school.

Cayden Boozer, a 6-foot-3, 190-pound versatile perimeter threat, ranks No. 20 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite. As for Meleek Thomas, the 6-foot-4, 175-pound bucket-getting floor general sits at No. 7 in the same class.

Neither has named finalists or scheduled official visits.

On that note, it probably can't hurt Duke's chances to have the upbeat Jared McCain and experienced Jeremy Roach, each a former McDonald's All-American, in their ears for a few days.
