- Quarterback Ashton Daniels set a Florida State record with 5 rushing touchdowns. He also set the Doak Campbell Stadium record, set the ACC record by a quarterback in an ACC game and tied the record for most by an ACC quarterback in any game. Daniels' touchdowns came from 4, 3, 6, 81 and 1 yard.
- Daniels is the first FBS quarterback with 5 rushing touchdowns against a Power 4 opponent since 2023 and just the 9th since 1995. He is the only player with at least 180 passing yards, 130 rushing yards and five touchdowns in that span.
- Daniels' 81-yard touchdown - his fourth of the game - is FSU's longest play of the season and was the 2nd-longest rush for a quarterback in FSU history. Jordan Travis, who was on the sideline for Saturday's game, had an 88-yard run against Pitt in 2020.
- Daniels' fifth touchdown of the game gave him nine for the season, matching Tommy Castellanos' school record for rushing touchdowns in a season by a quarterback.
- Daniels' 136 rushing yards set a new career high, topping his 129 at NC State while with Stanford in 2024. It is the most rushing yards for an FSU quarterback since Christian Ponder had 144 at Miami in 2008. It was Daniels' third career 100- yard rushing game and sixth multi-touchdown game.
- Passing, Daniels was 12-for-19 for 183 yards. He had 154 passing yards in the first half against a Virginia defense that was allowing just 130 passing yards per game, 5th in the country and 1st in the ACC.
