Florida State Fans and Former Players React to First Conference Championship Since 2014

The Seminoles defeated the Louisville Cardinals 16-6 for their 16th ACC title and 13th victory this season.

The Florida State Seminoles are once again ACC champions after a hard-fought battle in all four quarters. Despite true freshman Brock Glenn being thrown in under center and having just 55 total passing yards, the Seminoles were able to get the job done just as they were throughout the season.

The phrase "defense wins championships" spoke truth in Charlotte as the Seminoles went into halftime with three points on the board. They finished the game 16-6, marking their lowest-scoring game this season.

Whether it was the five sacks between Braden Fiske and Jared Verse, the momentum-changing interception from Tatum Bethune, or ACC Championship MVP Lawrance Toafili's 73-yard run, the end result of the game made it clear that the success of a team lies in the hands of every Seminole and not any singular player.

As this win marks just another historic moment in the long record book and countless success stories of FSU football, the 2023 season remains unfinished as the Seminoles are playoff-bound and continue to prove all doubters wrong.
