Florida State Fans and Former Players React to Rivalry Win Over The Gators

The last regular season game of 2023 had a lot to celebrate for the Seminoles.

It was a night to remember for Seminole fans despite a rocky start with the Gators quickly taking a 12-0 lead. FSU struck back with a touchdown before halftime. From game one to game 12 the Seminoles have walked out of the locker room into the second half a different team, and Saturday night was no different as they outscored Florida 17-3 and held the Gators to a mere 48 yards over the final two quarters.

With the victory comes something Florida State has not seen since 2014; an undefeated regular season. While the Seminoles still face Louisville next week in the ACC championship game as well as play in an undecided bowl game, the Seminoles walked away state champs and regular season conference champs once again.

As Tate Rodemaker led the Seminoles to victory after Jordan Travis suffered a season-ending injury, fans should feel better going into the postseason knowing that their new starting quarterback has what it takes to earn wins on the field.

Here are some reactions from fans and former players after the Seminoles defeated the Gators in the swamp for the first undefeated season under Mike Norvell.
