Florida State Fans, Former Players React to Rivalry Win Over Miami

In addition to their third straight win over Miami, the Seminoles went 8-0 in ACC play for the first time since 2014

For the 33rd time in program history, the Florida State Seminoles came out victorious against the Miami Hurricanes. Despite going into halftime with a tied game, the 'Noles were able to score 17 points in the second half, as well as making big defensive stops to get the 27-20 win over the Hurricanes.

With the win, FSU is just two games shy of tying the all-time record between the Seminoles and Hurricanes in a rivalry that dates back to 1951. In a matchup between two bluebloods in college football, records are thrown out the window and players are prepared to leave it all on the field.

"I've been a part of some rivalry games, and there is nothing, nothing like this game," FSU head coach Mike Norvell said in his postgame interview.

For players past and present, coaches and fans, this is a game that determines whether or not the Seminoles had a successful season.

Whether it was the return of star receivers Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson, or Jarrian Jones' game-sealing interception in the final seconds of the game, there was a lot for fans to be happy about as FSU is now 10-0 during the 2023 season.
