Former Florida State and UCF quarterback McKenzie Milton has been through a long journey throughout the college football ranks. From a 3-star prospect out of Mililani, Hawaii to a starter at the University of Central Florida where he led the Knights to an undefeated 2017 season and a 27-6 record while coupling a pair of New Year's Six appearances and two AAC Championships. He also led the Knights to an 11-0 "National Championship" season where he threw for 2,663 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Milton's career took a turn for the worse after suffering a knee injury in 2018 that would eventually sideline him until 2020. He would go on to graduate from UCF with a degree in sport and exercise science and a master's in educational leadership before transferring to Florida State.

The former Heisman contender announced his retirement from football after the 2022 NFL Draft. He has now found a new home with the Tennessee Volunteers as an offensive analyst, again joining his former head coach, Josh Heupel, who coached him at UCF.

At FSU he split reps with quarterback Jordan Travis, starting in four games and throwing for 775 yards and three touchdowns. He became a foundation of leadership on the sideline as the 'Noles battled under head coach Mike Norvell to turn around a Florida State program that had been left in shambles.

Milton won the Mayo Clinic Comeback Player of the Year and the ACC Piccolo Awards and became a nominee for the FWAA Orange Bowl Courage Award.
