Former FSU Football Specialist Signs With Agency Ahead of 2024 NFL Draft
After a disappointing finish to the 2023 season despite an overall 13-1 record and conference championship win, the offseason has begun for the Seminoles. Although the coaching staff and future stars are preparing for the 2024 campaign, many integral pieces have moved on to get ready for the upcoming NFL Draft.
Although he has only been at FSU for the last three years of his collegiate career, James Rosenberry Jr. was immediately a centerpiece for the Seminoles' special teams. He was brought on as the primary long snapper in 2021 after spending the prior three seasons at Maryland.
Earlier this week, Rosenberry announced via social media he will be represented by Pro First Sports Management as he continues his football journey beyond FSU and onto the professional level.
Pro First Sports Management has long-standing ties with former Seminoles who have seen success at the professional level, as a total of seven FSU alumni have partnered with the agency for the NFL Draft including Pro Football Hall of Famer LeRoy Butler and former first-round selections William Floyd and Sebastian Janikowski. Additionally, the agency also represents former FSU players Marvin Jones, Dexter Jackson, and James Colzie III in their careers as coaches.
Rosenberry is unlikely to be selected during the draft but his consistency could result in him being picked up as an undrafted free agent. In addition to seeing the field in all 39 games he played in at Florida State as the snapper for extra points, field goals, and punts, Rosenberry was named a first-team all-American by the American Football Coaches Association along with star defensive end Jared Verse.
The 2024 NFL Draft will begin on April 25th and conclude on April 27th. Rosenberry will be just one of the many Seminoles to look out for on draft weekend.
