FSU Football's Road Game Against Duke Football To Fall On Friday In October

In this story:
Florida State's schedule is beginning to come together ahead of the full release on Wednesday. The Seminoles have learned the dates for over half of their games in 2024.
That continued on Tuesday evening as it was announced that FSU's conference road game against Duke has been scheduled for Friday, October 18 in Week 8. This will be the second consecutive year that the Seminoles and Blue Devils face off on the football field.
FSU Football Loses Commitment From Elite Legacy Wide Receiver
Florida State holds a 20-0 all-time record against Duke, including a 38-20 victory this past season where the program responded from a double-digit deficit. The Seminoles fought out of a 10-0 hole thanks to a 21-0 advantage in the fourth quarter.
Following the season, Duke head coach Mike Elko elected to take the job at Texas A&M while star quarterback Riley Leonard transferred to Notre Dame. That leaves plenty of pieces for new head coach Manny Diaz to put together during his first season in Durham.

Outside of the matchup against Duke, it was previously announced that Florida State would travel to Ireland for an international game against Georgia Tech on August 24. The Seminoles also know when they'll play Boston College (September 2), Memphis (September 14), Charleston-Southern (November 23), and Florida (November 30) at home along with a contest against Notre Dame (November 9) on the road.
FSU will learn the remaining dates on its schedule during a release on Wednesday evening on the ACC Network and ESPN2. The Seminoles are only waiting to find out when they will host California, Clemson, and North Carolina and travel to Miami and SMU.
