No. 4 Florida State's last home game of the season is on Saturday, and for some of the players on the FSU roster, it'll be the last time they play inside Doak Campbell Stadium. The 'Noles are set to face off against the North Alabama Lions at 6:30 p.m. and look to continue their charge for an ACC Title and a College Football Playoff berth.

Florida State head coach Mike Norvell met with the media after Tuesday's practice and discussed addressing mistakes and improving while maintaining focus throughout the rest of the season after securing a spot in the ACC Championship Game.

"It's the incremental steps. Every player has an issue [to keep improving on]. I mean, all coaches have issues of things that we need to improve upon, where we can be more efficient," Norvell said. "We can obviously be more productive in what we're being asked to do. And so, you try to pinpoint that, and it's really no different than week one."

Mike Norvell Comments On Being Listed As A Potential Candidate For Texas A&M Job

Florida State moved to 10-0 last weekend with a hard-fought 27-20 victory over rival Miami to finish regular season conference play. Both offensive and defensive lines had their ups and downs, allowing three sacks and going 3-12 on third downs. Norvell took ownership of issues with the team overall and said he wanted to see the team correct the mistakes and apply the lessons learned.

"None of us were perfect on Saturday, and there's a lot of areas that we need to be able to improve. For me, the biggest thing is, are we hearing and seeing and taking ownership of the issue, the mistake, or just the area of improvement?" Norvell said. "And then, are we seeing the application? And that's what's most important for me."

There are 17 seniors on FSU's roster, and they have all played a significant role in where Florida State currently sits as a top-5 program. Saturday's contest against the Lions will mark what they've achieved and will continue to achieve as the regular season ends.

"Knowing that this is the last one, I mean, it's special, and it's one that, we've talked a lot about this week, about respect. You respect this game, you respect the journey you've been on, you respect the people you get to do it with and do it against," Norvell continued. "It's been impressive. It's been impressive to see these guys and what they've been able to do. And, you know, we need to respect that and go play better than we've ever played in that stadium."
