FSU is looking to continue its undefeated start next weekend against the Syracuse Orange. Head coach Mike Norvell has not lost to the Orange since being hired by the program in December of 2019. The Seminoles came out on top 38-3 in the matchup last season.

On Sunday afternoon, opening odds were released for Week 7 games around college football. According to Circa Sports, Florida State opened as a 20-point favorite against Syracuse. The Over/Under is set at 52.5 points, predicting roughly a 36.5-16.5 victory for the Seminoles over the Orange.

This is the second straight week that FSU has opened as a 20+ point favorite. The Seminoles were 25-point favorites against Virginia Tech.

The Seminoles enter the contest winners of 11 straight games dating back to last season. Florida State has scored at least 30 points throughout the entirety of the winning streak, the second longest active streak in the nation, per FSU Sports Information.

Syracuse got off to a 4-0 start but has struggled to begin conference play, dropping back to back games to Clemson (31-14) and North Carolina (40-7). The Orange failed to record 300 yards or more of total offense in both of the defeats.

Florida State and Syracuse will kick off at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 14. The game will be televised on ABC.
