There are two new players who could be heading that route as tight end Jaheim Bell and running back Trey Benson have caught the attention of executive director Jim Nagy and the selection committee in their early dives into rosters. In particular, Benson graded top-5.

Benson transferred in from Oregon last off-season and has been on many pre-season watch lists as a top-rated player heading into the 2023 season. Benson was ranked first in the ACC in yards per carry, 13th nationally last season. He finished 2022 with 990 rushing yards and nine scores on 154 carries while catching 15 passes for 144 yards. He also contributed on special teams as a kick returner with five kickoff returns for 192 yards and a touchdown. Benson was named second-team All-ACC and made ACC Running Back of the Week four times.

Bell came in in as the No. 1 tight end transfer in the country out of South Carolina in the offseason. Nagy has him listed with 16 other tight ends after having a solid career with the Gamecocks. Coming off a season where he ranked ninth in the country of returning players at his position per Pro Football Focus, he had 25 receptions for 231 yards and two touchdowns while adding 261 yards on the ground and three scores in 2022.

The Reese's Senior Bowl will take place in Mobile, Alabama on February 3rd, 2024 inside Hancock Whitney Stadium.
