The Florida State Seminoles have secured their third commit to their 2026 class. While it's a busy time on the recruiting trail for the 2025 class and for spring football training, it's never too early to invest in the future.

For Mike Norvell and his coaching staff, the work off the field is continuing as much as on the field. On Tuesday, 2026 four-star wide receiver Darryon Williams committed to the Seminoles. Rated a four-star by both On3 and Rivals, Williams continues to climb the rankings.

On3 ranks Williams the No. 82 player nationally and the No. 12 player in Florida. He joins four-star Efrem White, the No. 6 player in Florida, along with Darryl Bell III in the Seminoles 2026 class.

The Tampa Gaither wide receiver chose the Seminoles over the likes of Iowa, Iowa State, Florida Atlantic and more. The 5-foot-11, 165-pound prospect was complimentary of the Seminoles' coaching staff after his vist.

“What a day!!! It couldn’t have went any better!! I loved everything about FSU from academics to the coaches!! They made me feel special and like family,” Williams posted on social media after his visit.

Williams caught 34 passes for 617 yards and 11 touchdowns as a sophomore during his 2023 campaign. While listed as a wide reciever, he's also a talented defensive back and could potentially play on the other side of the ball at the next level.

With Williams' commitment, the Seminoles hold the No. 10 recruiting class in the 2026 cycle. Norvell's ability to bring in high-level talents out of high school has continued to improve during his time in Tallahassee. The work he's done in the transfer portal to turn the program around has paid off.

The Seminoles are one of the top programs in the nation, and recruits being excited to put on garnet and gold is just another measure to prove such.
