Cowboys Legend Has Strong Take On Miami Dolphins' Jalen Ramsey

In this story:
Legendary Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant has been a nuisance to defensive coordinators since he stepped on the NFL scene in 2010. Bryant spent eight seasons in Dallas before retiring with the Baltimore Ravens in 2020. During that period, he played in 119 games amassing 7,506 yards and 75 touchdowns on 537 catches, so it is safe to say he's lined up against some of the best defensive backs to play the game.

Recently, in an interview with Rotoworld NBC, he listed his top five cornerbacks that are currently in the league.
“I don’t really mean to be biased,” Bryant said. “I watch the game, and, you know, style is how I choose my picks.”
A familiar face for Florida State fans made the cut, and it comes as no surprise it was none other than former FSU star Jalen Ramsey, who is known for his not-so-subtle style of play and even more not-so-subtle confidence on and off the field. Ramsey played for the Seminoles from 2013-2015 before being selected in the first round of the NFL Draft.

Being a Cowboy, the first two names Bryant dropped were Trevon Diggs and Stephon Gilmore, who are both on the Dallas roster, followed by Denver Broncos' Patrick Surtain, Jr. and New York Jets' Sauce Gardner.
“He’s going to get healthy,” Bryant said of Ramsey.
The recent Miami addition and six-time Pro Bowler is coming off knee surgery after he suffered an injury early on in the preseason. He is expected to miss significant playing time in 2023; however, a healthy Jalen Ramsey is a force to be reckoned with.
