The trade rumor mill is in full effect this NFL offseason, and many former Seminoles have found new homes, restructured deals and come out of retirement already.

Minnesota Vikings and former Florida State Seminole stand-out running back Dalvin Cook is a trade candidate entering the 2023 NFL season, and one of the places he is favored to go is the Miami Dolphins, according to Kyle Newman of oddschecker.com.

Oddschecker has given the Dolphins +300 odds to land the All-Pro back, which is about a one and four chance; however, Cook currently has three years and $37 million left on his current contract in Minnesota.

Cook, a Miami native, rushed for 1173 yards and eight scores in 2022 and has a career total of 6,423 yards from scrimmage, which is tied for second in the NFL since 2019. The unanimous All-American rushed for 4,494 yards and 48 touchdowns during his three years in Tallahassee, earning First Team All-ACC (coaches and media) and Orange Bowl MVP. He was selected 41st overall in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft.

The Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos tied for a close second at +400, while the Chicago Bears are in third at +500, according to the website. The list drops to +700 for the Baltimore Ravens, Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay while leaving the Los Angeles Rams, New Orleans Saints, and Cincinnati Bengals at +1200 or more.

A move to the Dolphins would mark the second FSU alumni to make the Magic City his new home this offseason, following Jalen Ramsey, who made the move in March.
