2024 NFL Draft First Round Dream Fit for Brock Bowers

2024 NFL draft first round team has been tabbed as a dream fit for Georgia football tight end Brock Bowers.

The 2024 NFL draft is approaching rapidly which also means teams are starting to get a better idea of who they want to target in the first round. The Georgia Bulldogs have several players that could potentially be first round selections, and one of them might be a top-10 pick.

Tight end Brock Bowers has been sitting right on the cusp of potentially being a top-10 lock for this year’s draft. Many draft analysts seem to think that the New York Jets are going to snag him with the 10th overall pick, but another writer seems to think Bowers would fit better elsewhere at the professional level.

ESPN writer Matt Bowen released an article released a list of his best team fits for the top-20 prospects. When Bowers’ name came up on the list, it was Cincinnati that Bowen had linked to the all-american tight end. An interesting selection considering the Bengals already have some verified pass catchers on the roster, but Bowers would certainly upgrade quarterback Joe Burrow’s selection of weaponry.

The Bengals have also recently been linked to another potential first round selection from Georgia. It was announced last week that the Bengals set up a top-30 meeting with offensive tackle Amarius Mims. The Bengals have had some issues protecting Burrow over the years which has led him to miss some time due to injury, so snagging a guy like Mims in the first round might make a little more sense than going with a guy like Bowers. Nonetheless, it’s hard to make an argument against drafting either one of them with the 18th overall pick considering their projcetions.

If the Bengals are indeed interested in drafting both Mims and Bowers, then they will likely end up taking a Bulldog in the first round of this year’s draft. They both likely won’t still be on the board when it’s their turn to pick, but at least one of them likely will be.
