Brock Bowers Posts Impressive 40 Time Ahead of 2024 NFL Draft

Georgia tight end Brock Bowers posted an impressive 40-yard time at his private pro day ahead of the 2024 NFL draft.

The NFL draft is just a couple of weeks out and a Georgia Bulldog has made one last push at improving his draft stock. Tight end Brock Bowers and offensive lineman Amarius Mims participated in a private pro day on Wednesday in which 15 NFL teams were represented.

One of the biggest pieces of news that came out of the private pro day was Brock Bowers' 40-yard time, which many were intrigued to hear about when the NFL combine rolled around, but Bowers did not participate due to an injury. At the pro day, Bowers posted a 4.53 40-yard time, first reported by Dawg Nation Daily.

Bowers is viewed as a potential top-10 prospect in this year's draft class. The New York Jets hold the 10th overall pick and NFL draft pundits believe they might be the team in the first 10 selections that could take the All-American tight end.

During his career at Georgia, Bowers racked up 2,538 receiving yards, reeled in 175 receptions and accounted for 31 total touchdowns. He was already viewed as one of the top prospects in the class, but a 40 time that would've ranked the second-best amongst all tight ends at the combine might have solidifed himself as a top-10 lock.
