In a recent roster update, three Georgia Tech football players are no longer on the active roster.

Offensive lineman Wing Green, defensive back Eric Reed Jr, and wide receiver Bryce Dopson are no longer on the roster.

Dopson was a signee of the 2023 recruiting class.

Green had never played in a game since joining Georgia Tech and it did not seem that he was going to challenge for playing time this fall. Georgia Tech is bringing back all five starters from last year's offensive line and two transfers in the portal are also in the mix (Jordan Brown and Connor Scaglione).

Reed came to Georgia Tech last season after transferring from Auburn but did not play in a game and did not appear to be in line to challenge for playing time in what should be a strong secondary for Georgia Tech.

Georgia Tech will kick off its 2023 season against Louisville on September 1st. The game will be at 7:30 P.M. on ESPN.
